BrokerKit is recruiting and retention software: a CRM, dialer, texting, email campaigns and AI writing help, sold on annual agreements from $99 a month. Your team does the outreach. BrokerStaffer is a done-for-you service: we email the agents you choose, follow up until they’re ready, and you pay $150 per interested agent, with no monthly fee.
Choose BrokerKit if you have a recruiting team that will work the system every day, or you need retention and onboarding tools too. Choose BrokerStaffer if you want agents ready to talk about joining you without anyone on your team prospecting.
BrokerStaffer vs BrokerKit at a glance
What is BrokerKit?
BrokerKit is software for brokerages that covers agent recruiting, onboarding and retention. Its site lists a daily call list, follow-up tracking, alerts when agents make moves, personalized campaigns, one-to-one and bulk email, two-way texting, an outbound dialer, video messages, appointment booking, document management and AI help writing messages.
BrokerKit connects to agent data tools. Its integrations page names BrokerMetrics, MarketView, Relitix and Courted, so you can import agents and their production. It also offers BrokerBoost, an optional add-on where their team runs job ads, social ads and AI-driven LinkedIn and email outreach for you.
Without BrokerBoost, BrokerKit is a system your team runs. The calls, texts and emails come from your people.
What is BrokerStaffer?
BrokerStaffer is agent recruiting you only pay for when it works. We build a list of the agents you want in your market from your MLS data vendor (Courted, Relitix, MarketView or BrokerMetrics) or our own agent database. We take out your current agents and anyone on your Do-Not-Contact list. Then our team emails each agent at their personal inbox and follows up and nurtures them until they’re ready.
When an agent says they’re open to a conversation about joining you, they go to your team right away with their MLS production and the full conversation, in a recruiting CRM that syncs with Follow Up Boss. Across our campaigns, 5 to 10% of the agents we email reply.
The details, side by side
Who does the work, what you pay, what you get and how fast, line by line. Where BrokerKit doesn’t publish something, we say so.
BrokerKit pricing vs pay per result
BrokerKit publishes three plans: Starter at $99 a month for one seat, Core at $199 a month for three seats ($169 a month billed yearly), and Expansion at $499 a month for ten seats ($424 a month billed yearly). Their pricing page says all plans are annual agreements, with a one-month implementation and training fee upfront. BrokerBoost starts at $499 a month on top.
BrokerStaffer has no monthly fee. You pay $150 per interested agent, $250 per interested agent who matches your production filters, $500 per call that shows up, or $5,000 per salaried hire, plus a one-time $500 infrastructure fee.
Here’s a year side by side, using BrokerKit’s published monthly prices. The BrokerStaffer line assumes 20 interested agents over the year, as an example.
If your team will work the software every day, BrokerKit Core is the cheaper line. If you want someone else to do the outreach, compare BrokerStaffer with BrokerKit plus BrokerBoost, and remember that BrokerStaffer only bills for agents who replied that they’re interested.
A system to run vs results delivered
BrokerKit is built to organize recruiting: who to call today, which drip each agent is on, who replied. It works best with a recruiter or broker who uses it consistently. When recruiting slips behind closings and management, the system sits idle and the subscription keeps running.
BrokerStaffer takes the prospecting off your plate:
- We build the target list with you, from MLS production data
- We write and send personal emails to each agent’s own inbox
- We follow up and nurture the agents who say “not now”
- You only hear from agents open to a conversation about joining you
Do you still need a recruiting CRM?
Every BrokerStaffer client gets our recruiting CRM, with each interested agent’s production and conversation, and it syncs with Follow Up Boss. For recruiting, that’s often enough.
BrokerKit does more on the retention side: onboarding, milestone alerts and tools for your current roster. If you need those, keep BrokerKit for retention and use BrokerStaffer to fill the recruiting pipeline. The two can work side by side.
How fast each one gets you results
With BrokerKit, results depend on your team’s time and the campaigns you build. Their plans include onboarding sessions to help you get set up.
With BrokerStaffer, you’ll see your first interested agents within 48 hours of launch, and each one goes to your team the moment they reply.
Proof: what each one can show you
BrokerKit shows logos from large brands and testimonials from brokerage leaders, including a Keller Williams team leader who says they received over 30 referrals from their agents in the first week.
BrokerStaffer publishes case studies with named clients and real numbers:
Clients close 5 to 15% of the opportunities we generate. We don’t guarantee interviews or hires on our lead and call plans.
